Interactions between organism and environment

This MTR will only consider interactions between an organism and its environment (housing and social context).

Gene - environment interactions, phenotypic plasticity and the adaptive response of organisms to environmental stimuli are now recognized as a major characteristic of evolutionary changes. This theme thus encompasses research in developmental biology and studies about how organisms react to their environment.
