Studying the effects of altitude on viper eggs?

Studying the effects of altitude on viper eggs
In the framework of the European ECTOPYR project, SETE researchers – a part of TULIP – went to the Pic du Midi at the beginning of the reptile and amphibian spawning period to study the effect of altitude on embryonic development.

Subtitles translation :

Laid eggs are numbered and weighed

Then they are divided into different treatments

Incubated at different temperatures

And different altitudes

Will temperature and lack of oxygen affect their development?
