The LabEx TULIP has opened to international recruitment 4 thesis grants in 2016. The laureates, who started their work in early 2017, were selected from over 130 applications:

"Young Scientists for the Future" post-docs 2014 edition

The LabEx TULIP has opened to international recruitment 4 post-docs grants in 2014 for two years contracts. The international announcement attracted more than 200 candidates, 11 of whom were invited to give lectures in Toulouse in front of the TULIP community and an external scientific council. The selected candidates were:

Arnaud Sentis

Arnaud worked from 2015 to 2017 under the direction of Jean-Louis Hemptinne and Etienne Danchin on the EDB unit's "Adaptation Process" team. He then obtained a Marie Curie PRESTIGE fellowship for a 7 months contract extension. In 2018 Arnaud was recruited at IRSTEA in the RECOVER laboratory (Aix en Provence).

Research project: Experimental evolution in the absence of initial genetic variation.

David Duneau

David worked from 2015 to 2017 with Jean-Baptiste Ferdy on the EDB Unit's "Adaptation Process" team. He then obtained a Marie Curie PRESTIGE Fellowship from Europe for a 7 month contract extension.

Research project: Infections of Drosophila melanogaster by various entomopathogens.

Jun Hye Shin

Jun Hye Shin worked from 2015 to 2017 in collaboration with Mohamed Zouine in the GBF Unit. She has since been recruited for a second post doctoral contract funded by the european TomGEM project in the same unit to continue her research.

Research project: Auxin regulation of fruit ripening.

Martina Beck

Martina worked from 2015 to 2017 with Fernanda de Carvalho-Niebel in the LIPM's "Endosymbiotic infection and nodule development" (ENOD) team. She received a co-funding from AO Young Scientist for the Future TULIP and an AgreenSkill + fellowship. Martina was recently recruited as Project Manager in the Micropep Technologies startup.

Research project: Cell-to-Cell Communication during the establishment of the nitrogen-fixing symbiosis.
