The TULIP-GS Master

The TULIP-GS Master is a two–year program which seeks to train our future engineers or scientific project managers, mainly in plant breeding, plant protection, sustainable plant production, impact studies on environment, ecosystems and biodiversity, depollution, but also scientific advisors, professors and researchers in academic institutes and universities. Every year, the TULIP-GS Master will recruit a maximum of 20 Master students for the first year of training (M1 students) and a maximum 30 Master students for the second year of training (M2 students). The TULIP-GS Master started in September 2021 with the opening of its first-year training program..

A TULIP-GS jury selects first and second year master students based on their academic excellence and their motivation to be trained at the interface between Functional Biology and Evolutionary Ecology.

Professional sectors of activities offered to TULIP-GS graduate students include fundamental research in agriculture, forestry and fishing, natural land management, waste management and remediation, private companies and public administration.

Expected type of jobs available: Engineer or scientific project manager (mainly in plant breeding, plant protection, sustainable plant production, impact studies on environment, ecosystems and biodiversity, depollution), scientific advisor, teachers/researchers in academic institutes and universities.

Applicants selected for the Master will benefit from the services provided by the Federal University of Toulouse (Toul'Box). The TULIP Graduate School will also support them as follows:

  • To French students and international students from a French university: in Master 1, about 3000 € per year and in Master 2, about 3500 € per year;
  • To international students from a foreign university: in Master 1, about 8000 € per year and in Master 2, about 5500 € per year, to contribute to their relocation fees.

Students from the European Union can also apply for the "Bourses France Excellence Europa" program set up by Campus France in order to obtain an allowance when they come to France to study for a Masters degree.

Mobility to Perpignan and Moulis is organized and financed by TULIP-GS. Each new M1 student will be paired with a M2 student to facilitate integration.
