Zoltan Barta "Visiting Scientists" seminar

Zoltan Barta – Professor of Biology at the University of Debrecen, Hungary - will give a TULIP seminar talk on November 24th at 11:00 a.m. Meet him at the Marc Ridet seminar room !

Zoltan Barta has joined EDB for two months (October-November 2016). His work focuses on the evolution of social behaviours, like cooperation, social foraging and parental care. He is especially interested in the effect of individual variation on social evolution. He usually combine theoretical models with empirical approaches and works on a wide range of organisms from yeast, through bugs and beetles to birds. His other main interest concerns state-dependent life history evolution where he modelled avian moult and migration.
