Great success for the 2019 special edition of the TULIP Summer School

The special edition for this eighth edition of our "Biological interactions, from genes to ecosystems" summer school, was held from July 6 to 12, 2019. Students that came from 13 countries were able to spend a week with international guests, some Toulouse researchers, as well as former summer school students who came to present their history after their participation to the TULIP summer school.

Students had less than a week to design the research project of their dream, by using the “problem based learning” method. The traditional presentations of the projects at the end of the week were of excellent quality according to the supervisors.

The participants also attended the presentations by Yuling Bay, Andrew Beckerman, Marc Knight, Hanna Kokko, Yves Mauffette et Philippe Reymond.

As every year, the week ended with a visit of the technical facilities of the SETE laboratory, as well as the CNRGV, TPMP and TRI Imagerie platforms.

As previously, we received very positive feedback from the supervisors and the participants on their experience during this week, both orally and in response to the satisfaction questionnaire sent to students.
