The opportunity for the LabEx to share its news, its upcoming Calls for projects and to consult the community about its future.

After a few news concerning the labex perimeter, its AOs, its scientific facts and its budget, Dominique Roby and Etienne Danchin wished to mention the major issues affecting the future of the community, in particular the PIA 3 Call for Schools of Research. After recalling the positioning of TULIP during the first wave, it was proposed to open a reflection group to anticipate a possible 2nd wave.

The 8-year evaluation of LabEx - which will take place in 2018 and will open the possibility of a possible extension until 2025 - was also discussed. The Assembly was consulted on the principle of an extension of TULIP in its recent scope, in its philosophy and with a new governance: 97% of the voters with raised hands expressed themselves in favor of a extension to 2025. A workshop will soon be proposed so that all those who wish, can participate in the reflection on our 2025 objectives!
