Three selected projects for the 2017 TULIP-FR AIB Call for interlab projects

For the second year, The FR AIB and the LabEx TULIP proposed a Call for Inter-unit projects, following the FRAIB call for projects.

Applications were evaluated by external experts. Given the total budget of 50k€ allocated to this AO and in accordance with the procedure agreed at the Scientific Council meeting on 18 April, only the first three projects could be funded:

Description

Epigenetic modifications in the plant pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum during experimental evolution on resistant tomato

Alice Guidot (LIPM)/Olivier Bouchez (GeT-PlaGe)

A technological project whose aim is to study the emergence of epigenetic changes in R. solanacearum clones obtained after experimental evolution on tomato resistant cultivars.

Measure of in planta bacterial fitness using a barcoded TnSeq approach

A.Boulanger (LIPM), O. Bouchez (GeT-PlaGe)

A technological project focused on Xcc 8004 metabolic properties to better understand bacterial adaptation to the plant, using the OMNILOG technology (available on the TPMP platform) and the TnSeq approach, the object of collaboration with GeT-PlaGe.

Impact of fungal secreted signalling peptides on plant symbioses (FUSSPOT)

Nicolas Freidit Frey (LRSV) and Sylvain Raffaele (LIPM)

The long-term objective of this collaboration is to decipher the molecular mechanisms regulating plant-fungus interactions with an emphasis on secreted signaling peptides (SSPs): their role, their perception by the plant and their evolution.
