Following the Scientific Council meeting on December 2 and the LabEx Executive Council meeting on December 10, 2025, funding for the four sponsorship requests was approved.

Phages Network in Toulouse

The Phages.fr network is a CNRS ‘Groupement de recherche’ (GDR) regrouping more than 200 France-based permanent and non-permanent scientists with an interest on bacteriophages (phages), the natural viruses of bacteria. The network organizes an annual meeting aimed at French and European researchers working every aspect of bacteriophage biology, from fundamental research to applications.

Bilharziasis: neglected "tropical" diseases event

This event is a mini-forum proposed by the “Académie des Sciences” thanks to the initiative of Michel Delseny (former director of the LGDP). The aim of this mini-forum is to take stock of knowledge and future scientific directions in 3 main areas linked to the transmission of Bilharziasis, the second most important parasitic disease after Malaria: Eco/Epidemioloy, Health/Control and non-bio-medical aspects (SHS, partnerships, etc.). This mini-forum will bring together the leading European and African experts working on this neglected tropical disease, which emerged in southern Corsica in 2013.

15th International Conference of the French Society of Plant Biology (SFBV)

The French Society for Plant Biology organizes a 3 day international scientific conference gathering 150–200 participants. The meeting is held entirely in English and features around ten invited speakers of international standing. The 2026 edition will take place in Toulouse and is organized by researchers from the LRSV, a TULIP member unit. The SFBV conference covers a broad spectrum of topics closely aligned with the core research axes of the TULIP LabEx, including: Functional plant biology, Plant–microbe–environment interactions, Environmental stresses and adaptation, Genomics and systems biology, Plant evolutionary developmental biology, Agricultural systems and agroecological transition.

8e Journées Francophones des Mycorhizes

The Journées Francophones des Mycorhizes (JFM) is a biennial international meeting dedicated to plant–mycorrhizal interactions and associated microbiomes, addressing key questions in symbiosis, plant nutrition and defense, plant resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses, and challenges for sustainable agriculture, biostimulant industry . The event targets a broad scientific audience, with a specific attention to early-career scientists, and international partners from francophone countries.
