The EUR Call: a new challenge for TULIP

The « TULIP EUR Committee » constituted of all the TULIP members who declared their interest in this important project, will meet for the third time on October 1, 2018. Bringing together about 20 university-teachers and researchers, this committee is building an EUR project structured around the TULIP community that will integrate and reinforce TULIP's pedagogical actions, in association withits strong research potential. In particular, one of the major proposals will be the creation of a new international master's degree (M1 and M2) in integrative biology and ecology involving the universities of Perpignan (UPVD) and Toulouse (UPS) jointly.

The ANR Call for Projects « Ecole Universitaire de Recherche » is a structuring action of the ‘Investments for the Future’ program of the French Government that aims at strengthening the impact and international attractiveness of the training and research of the selected communities. The resulting research university schools will bring together master and doctorate courses around research laboratories of internationalstandard. The funding of selected schools is planned to last for 10 years.

TULIP collectively anticipated to apply only at the second wave of the call that is planned to be out this autumn (the first one having been released in March 2017). Created in the fall of 2017, the « TULIP EUR Committee » is now preparing a strong proposal for this second wave of call. Let's wish them all the imagination and efficiency that are necessary to be successful.
