Innovation Projects : TULIP launches its 2018/2019 call

We are pleased to launch our 2018-2019 call for Innovation proposals. The aim of this call is to support pre-maturation / pre-valorisation actions. You have until January 26, 2019 to build a project involving TULIP scientific community members and a non academic partner.

The LabEx TULIP programme includes an important aspect concerning "valorization of the scientific research towards the actors of the society". We worked toward this goal theses last years, by the organization of public-private meetings, and with the creation of the Innovation Committee, in order to coordinate, animate and support emerging actions in this domain.

Several months are left to the potential project holders to develop a relationship with partners and tobuild together a project. We transmitted this call to our potential partners and we invite you to do the same.

The conditions for application are listed below:

  • The projects must be co-funded, the TULIP partner must contribute at least 50% of the total cost of the project
  • Project’s holder needs to write a letter of intent of one page
  • Duration of the project: 6 - 12 months
  • Evaluation/selection by the TULIP Innovation Committee

Criteria for projects evaluation (see our Innovation Committee Board Reports 29/03/2016 and 17/01/2017 on the TULIP intranet):

  • Applicability (theoretical and / or potential) and industrial interest (possible aim)
  • Feasibility
  • Risk taking
  • Novelty / originality and scientific interest
  • Insertion in the TULIP project
  • Sustainable management (compatibility, ethics, sustainable management of the environment)
  • Carrier quality (CV)

If you are interested in responding to this Call, you can send us your letter of intent before 26/01/2019.
