Summer School 2018

The LabEx summer school will take place from July 14th to 20th 2018 in the French Pyrenees, in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre. Opened to master, doctoral and post-doctoral students from all over the world, this seventh edition constitutes a unique opportunity to meet international speakers coming to Occitania.

Entirely in English, this summer school in integrative biology and ecology is part of the TULIP LabEx training program. It consists in plenary sessions and intensive workshops, and covers all aspects of interactions among organisms ranging from the molecular up to the eco-evolutionary scale of interactions within populations and communities (genetic, molecular, physiological, behavioural, populational, evolutionary and ecological aspects of interactions between organisms and between organisms and their environment, in microbial, plant and animal biology).

Selected students will have the opportunity to:

  • Take an active part in a research team project at the interface between these scientific fields,
  • Meet TULIP experts and renowned international researchers listed below,
  • Enjoy a pleasant setting in the Pyrenees

Full accommodation is provided to the students during the Summer School, as well as the travel from Toulouse to the Domaine de Ramonjuan (french Pyrénées); Students only have to cover for their travel expenses to Toulouse. The summer school is limited to 25 students selected by our Pedagogical Committee.

Applications are opened until April, 1st.

Successful applicants will be informed before April 15th.
