The Master in Functional Biology and Ecology begins!

The first students of the Master in Functional Biology and Ecology are currently experiencing their first days of classes at the TULIP Graduate School. This is an important moment for the institution, which sees its pedagogical project finally taking shape.

After a freshers’ week full of adventures, on Monday, September 13, the Perpignan laboratories LGDP and IHPE welcomed the master's students for their first official day of classes. Over the next few weeks, the students will be immersed in each of TULIP's partner research units —EDB, LIPME, LRSV and SETE completing the list. Thus, students will travel between Perpignan, Moulis or Toulouse in the beautiful Occitanie region. But above all, they will be able to benefit from the teaching provided by the researchers of these same laboratories.

These trainings will enrich and prepare the students for a key phase of the master's program: the Junior Lab. For weeks, in teams and within the TULIP laboratories, the students will work on civil society issues brought by socio-economic actors of the Occitanie region: AkiNaO, De Sangosse and the Catalan Natural Reserves. A year full of challenges awaits them: good luck and success to our FBE master students!
